About ASA e.V.

The "ASA e.V." stands for the "Association to Support the Annai Seva Ashram." In Tamil, Annai means "mother," and Seva translates to "serving those in need." In India, an Ashram signifies a community or partnership for life. Since 1981, ASA has brought hope and brighter futures to orphaned and destitute children. Our current initiatives include CUC (Children Upliftment Centre), adapted in 2015 to meet new orphanage regulations, and WDP (Women’s Development Project), which empowers women in need. Based in Germany, ASA e.V. is a charitable organization run by volunteers. Donations are tax-deductible. Through care, education, and empowerment, we’ve transformed countless lives. Our Mission

Our Mission

At ASA e.V., our mission is to empower destitute children and women by providing the support, resources, and opportunities they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's words, "Be the change you wish to see in the world," we strive to create meaningful change by fostering self-reliance, resilience, and hope in the lives of those we serve.
